My Pottery Journey

In 2023, I discovered pottery and quickly fell in love with this meditative art form. What started as a simple curiosity about working with clay became a passion that transformed how I see creativity, mindfulness, and community.

Like many beginners, I struggled to find the right pottery classes near me. I spent hours searching through Google results, trying to figure out which studios actually had classes, only to then see that almost all of the classes at the large, well-known studios filled up in seconds when they were released on their website. I finally was able to get into a class at a large community studio near me. Then I just hoped the studio's instructors would be patient with someone who had never touched clay before.

Why I Created This Directory

After my own frustrating experience trying to find and get into pottery classes, I realized there had to be a better way. I wanted to create a comprehensive resource that would help others avoid the confusion I faced and find their perfect ceramics studio from the start. There are many smaller studios out there that Google may not know about or are difficult to find because they are buried in the search results.

Find a Pottery Class was born from this desire to make pottery more accessible. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of working with clay, whether they're looking for a new hobby, stress relief, or a creative outlet.
